An update on Mom's health

Thursday, March 30, 2006

Hi Everyone!
I have more progress to report today. They did some breathing excersices with my mom this morning and were able to take her off of the respirator around 4:00 pm. So far she has been able to have a little clear liquids. She's still in good spirits and is staying calm. Sheila aunty called me after she visited her and told me that Mom was staying calm and letting her body rest. I was able to speak to her very very briefly on the phone: I did most of the talking and mom just listened. So with god's grace I've been able to let you know of some more positive progress. Let's keep praying and hope that mom's recovery continues to move in the right direction. Thanks for all your support.

lots of love,
shaylee

Shaily it is very good of you to keep updating the blog. It really helps us to know her progress everyday.

I know for sure she is a strugler and she would come out of it come what may.

Meanwhile both you and your dad have to do your bit by taking care of yourself too.

Lord Almighty has to listen to our prayers.

Shaylee, we are very happy to read about steady improvements though it may feel a bit slow. I am also so happy to read that dad has such full time moral support from Pratapkaka. Pl. convey them our warm regards.

Our prayers continue.
